Artist's Comments

Meet my new girly, Xandra. She's helped ease the void of my plush coated shepherd Hannah, who passed away two years ago.
For a long time I didn't want another female dog but when I saw Xandra on the WSGR (see the link below!) website, my heart melted and I had to at least make the effort to see her. So I got back in contact with them and drove out to see them. When I first laid eyes on her in person, with her looking back at me, I knew there was no way in hell I was going to walk away from their kennels without her.
She helped me deal with the stress of marital issues, moving and everything else in between. Now we live in beautiful Colorado and this photo was taken during a very brief, light and late snowfall.

Westside German Shepherd Rescue

Some facts:
Breed: Anatolian Shepherd x Great Dane (our and the vet's best guess)
Color: Blonde/Cream with black
Gender: female
Age: Eleven (11) months

Quick FAQ:
"How many dogs do you have?!"
I have two dogs; Loki & Xandra. The other dogs in my galley either belong to my family or once lived with me but have been placed into a more suitable home.

"Can I use this image for [purpose]?"
My photos may NOT be used for anything without asking me first. They are not stock nor are they free for use.

"Can you take off that ugly watermark?"
NO! Absolutely not. It stays, like it or not.

This bit is copied and modded from information on =wazabees deviations.

Thank you! :)
Her ears will actually cross at the tips when she's focused on something.

My beauty is my own, just because it's not like your's doesn't mean it's not desirable all the same.

Oh wow, she's absolutely gorgeous. I was actually considering getting a great dane or anatolian shepherd sometime after college.

I really love the composition of this picture, and the eyes stand out really well. Great job!

She's beautiful! Her face reminds me of my own Anatolian. My guess is that she has Anatolian and German Shepherd in her. I see no sign of Great Dane. If you're guessing that because of the size, Anatolians are HUGE like the Danes. (:

She's stunning!

The dane is because her ears sit extremely close when perked. Also her head side profile has the very square/rectangle shape of a dane. She's also very very very low energy like most danes I've seen.
